Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of the investment, real estate and banks sectors.
The main index lost 0.37% or 13.3 points to reach 3,542.05 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The investment sector was the worst performer with a 0.8% fall as Dubai Investments retreated 0.46%.
The real estate sector slipped 0.6% after Union Properties (UP) and Emaar Properties went down 1.05% and 0.6% respectively. Likewise, the banks sector decreased 0.26% due to a decline in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.37%.
The market saw trading of 12.69 million shares through 286 transactions, with a turnover of AED 20.05 million.
