Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance on Thursday, in line with the fall of real estate and banks stocks.
The main index declined 0.99% or 34.7 points to reach 3,484.49 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The real estate sector led losers after declining 1.95% as Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding slid 2.4% and 1.9% respectively.
The banks sector also went down 0.56% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) retreated 0.56%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector was the only gainer after adding 0.54% as SHUAA Capital and Air Arabia increased 1.34% and 0.7% respectively.
The market saw trading of 30.53 million shares through 510 transactions, with a turnover of AED 43.15 million.
