Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the green.
The DFMGI edged up 0.06% or 2.15 points to reach 3,535.98 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector was the best performer after adding 0.5%, backed by Dubai Parks and Resorts which advanced 0.6%. Likewise, the real estate sector rose 0.2% as Arabtec Holding and Emaar Malls Group (EMG) went up 0.7% and 0.4%, respectively.
On the flipside, the banks sector led losers, slipping 0.05% as Ajman Bank dropped 1.3%.
Turnover reached AED 65.80 million after 64.12 million shares were traded through 660 transactions.
