Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Thursday’s early trades, backed by the rise of investment and financial services stocks.
The DFMGI went up 0.21% or 7.08 points to reach 3,369.25 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The investment and financial services sector topped gainers with a 0.74% rise, backed by SHUAA Capital which added 2.5%.
The services sector grew 3.32% as Tabreed increased 3.32%. The real estate sector also levelled up 0.33% as Drake and Scull International (DSI) climbed 1.3%.
On the flipside, the insurance sector fell 0.75% as Islamic Arab Insurance Co. (SALAMA) slid 2.13%.
The banks sector also declined 0.07% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went down 0.19%.
The market saw trading of 26.2 million shares through 329 transactions, with a turnover of AED 32 million.
