Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, driven by the rise of blue chips.
The main index advanced 0.20% or 6.9 points to reach 3,528.80 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The banks sector topped gainers after adding 0.29% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 0.6%. Likewise, the investment sector grew 0.28% after Dubai Investments increased 0.47%.
The real estate sector climbed 0.27% due to a rise in Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties by 0.65% and 0.4% respectively.
The market saw trading of 82.27 million shares through 1,078 transactions, with a turnover of AED 103.59 million.
