Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 25.8 points, or 0.98%, to 2,658.8 points in a week.
Market capitalisation increased by AED 2.96 billion to AED 352.81 billion over the week, compared to AED 349.87 billion.
Consumer staples surged 5.4%, while the real estate, banking, and investments sectors added 1.32%, 0.64%, and 0.21%, respectively.
Emirates NBD, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), and Arabtec Holding rose 1.75%, 1.78%, and 4.46%, respectively.
Emaar Development went up 3.3%, while du gained 2.2% and Dar Al Takaful rose 3.5%.
