Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance on Monday, in line with the decline of investment and real estate stocks.
The main index fell 0.51% or 17.57 points to reach 3,330.57 points by 10:10am UAE time.
The investment sector led losers after falling 1.14% as DFM Company retreated 2.46%. The real estate sector also declined 0.74% as Emaar Properties went down 1.16%.
The banks sector sank 0.23% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) slid 0.23%. The transportation sector also retreated 0.11% due to a decline in Aramex by 0.8%.
The market saw trading of 8 million shares through 141 transactions, with a turnover of AED 10 million.
