Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) suffered losses in Sunday’s early trades, according to a bourse statement.
The DFMGI fell 0.7% or 21.8 points to reach 3,252.16 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector was the worst performer after falling 2.5% as DXB Entertainments slid 2.6%. The investments sector tumbled 1.08% as DXB Entertainments retreated 3.5%.
The banks sector levelled down 0.5% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) declined 0.8%. The real estate sector also sank 0.4% after Emaar Properties decreased 1.5%.
The market saw a turnover of AED 342.81 million generated from the exchange of 284.91 million shares.
