Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched down 0.54% or 11.39 points to close Sunday's trading session at 2,091.86 points, keeping its downward performance for the second session in a row.
The market cap value decreased by AED 1.05 billion to AED 294.10 billion, compared to AED 295.15 billion during the previous session.
A total of 436.31 million shares were traded through 4,362 transactions at a total value of AED 235.65 million.
The investment and financial services sector led the decliners with 3.31%, while the services segment came on top of the risers with 2%.
Dubai Investments topped 19 losing stocks with 4.76%, while Union Properties headed 12 rising stocks with 8.26%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 183.12 million shares traded at a total value of AED 67.81 million.
Emaar Properties hit the top of the losing blue chips with 1.39%, while Damac Properties led the rising blue chips with 2.79%.
