DFM loses 13 pts on Wednesday

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by around 0.57% or 12.79 points to settle at 2,212.73 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session.

A total of 237.92 million shares were traded through 3,647 transactions valued at AED 140.67 million.

The market cap value declined by AED 1.16 billion to AED 311.39 billion, compared to AED 312.55 billion during the previous session.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) led the losing stocks with 4.59%, while Ithmaar Holding topped the rising stocks with 5.6%.

Emaar Malls headed the losing blue chips with 2.75%.
