Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined this week, as markets remain impacted by the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The main index lost 17.61% or 388.7 points over the course of the week, as it closed at 1,819.24 points.
Market cap losses amounted to AED 25.11 billion, as it reached AED 271.42 billion, compared with AED 296.53 billion last week.
The real estate sector lost 20.73%, while banks plunged by 17.48%.
Financial services and services lost 11.91% and 11.54%, respectively.
DXB Entertainments led the falling stocks and dropped by 48.95%, while Emaar plummeted by 48.84%.
