DFM loses 22 pts on Thursday

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.02% or 21.74 points to close Thursday's trading session at 2,103.25 points, reversing its upward performance on Wednesday, 10 June.

The market cap value decreased by AED 2.73 billion to AED 295.15 billion, compared to AED 297.88 billion during the previous session.

Around 552.27 million shares were traded through 4,814 transactions at a total value of AED 297 million.

The investment and financial services sector led the losers with 3.39%.

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) led 24 losing stocks with 4.91%, while Union Properties came on top of six rising stocks with 12.50%.

Union Properties was the most active stock with 264.15 million shares traded at a total value of AED 89.68 million.

Dubai Investments topped the losing blue chips with 4.55%, while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) headed the rising blue chips with 0.26%.
