Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of the investment and real estate sectors.
The general index declined 0.98% or 34.18 points to reach 3,460.69 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector sank 1.57% after Dubai Investments tumbled 1.63%.
The real estate sector retreated 1.17% as Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties levelled down 1.27% and 1.09%, respectively.
The banks sector slid 0.62% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went down 0.89%.
The market saw trading of 47.35 million shares through 868 transactions, with a turnover of AED 87.8 million.
