DFM loses 6.56 pts on Wednesday

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.24% or 6.56 points at the end of Wednesday’s trading session, closing at the level of 2,711.72 points.

The bourse’s liquidity recorded AED 275.50 million after 312.95 million shares were traded through 2,925 transactions.

The market cap value plunged by AED 680 million to stand at AED 367.35 billion from AED 368.03 billion in the previous session.

The real estate sector was up by 0.83%, while the investment and financial services sector was down by 0.34%.

International Financial Advisors (IFA) topped the winners with 13.48%, whereas Mashreq Bank led the losers with 10%.

Union Properties achieved the highest turnover of AED 53.20 million through the exchange of 177.35 million shares.

As for the blue chips, Damac Properties added 1.94%, while Emirates NBD went down by 0.83%.
