Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Sunday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of the transportation and banks sectors.
The general index sank 0.20% or 8.06 points to stand at 3,642.70 points by 10:55am UAE time.
The transportation sector slid 0.66% as Gulf Navigation Holding led losers with a 4.38% decline.
The banks sector tumbled 0.58% due to a decline in Emirates NBD by 1.9%. The real estate sector also levelled down after Arabtec Holding declined 2.9%.
The market saw trading of 149.22 million shares through 2,155 transactions, with a turnover of AED 245.42 million.
GFH Financial Group went up 2.08% and became the value leader after generating AED 105.46 million.
