Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index declined by 47.57 points, or 1.67%, to 2,790.42 points in a week.
Market capitalisation went down to AED 382.51 billion over the week, compared to AED 386.05 billion in the previous week.
The real estate sector shed 1.6% and the banking sector fell 1.5%, while the investment sector decreased by 2.5% and the consumer staples sector levelled down by 0.5%.
Emirates NBD, DXB Entertainments, and Emaar Properties shrank 0.7%, 0.5%, and 1.5%, respectively. Dubai Islamic Bank plunged 2.5% and Dubai Investments sank 3.7%.
