DFM loses most in 11 sessions

Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a downward trend on Thursday, hitting the biggest losses in 11 sessions.

The DFMGI fell 1.68% or 55.19 points to reach 3,229.87 points.

Trading volume reached 278.747 million shares on Thursday, compared to 257 million shares on Wednesday.

Turnover stood at AED 319.433 million, compared to AED 295 million.

The real estate sector led losers after falling 2.72% as Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties declined 2.78% and 5.52%, respectively.

The investment sector slid 2.13% as GFH Holding and Shuaa Capital retreated 4.43% and 5.89%, respectively.

The telecom sector decreased 1.44% due to a drop in du by 1.44%.

The banks sector leveled down 0.68% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) lost 1.82%.
