Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) widened its losses in Tuesday’s mid-session amid selling pressures on Arabtec Holding, in addition to the decline of Emaar Properties and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).
The main gauge retreated 0.84% or 26 points to reach 3,093.16 points by 12:45pm UAE time.
The real estate sector led decliners after falling 1.36%, while the investment and banks sectors decreased 0.93% and 0.89% in a row.
On the flipside, the transportation sector was the only gainer after adding 0.87%, while the telecom and industrial sectors remained unchanged.
Arabtec slid 3.25%, while Emaar and DIB levelled down 0.7% and 0.98%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 194.7 million shares through 2,370 transactions, with turnover of AED 197.2 million.
