Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Monday’s trading session higher in line with the rise of the banks segment.
The index levelled up by 0.11% or 3.89 points to reach 3,558.58 points by 10:26am UAE time.
The telecom sector topped the gainers with a growth of 1.82%, as du stock rose by 1.82%.
DFM’s banks segment edged up by 0.18%, endorsed by Ajman Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank which rose by 0.8% and 0.36% respectively.
Air Arabia levelled down 0.8% to drag the transportation segment down by 0.41%.
The market’s liquidity stood at AED 29.67 million, after 24.42 million shares were traded through 341 transactions.
