Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red territory.
The DFM’s general index went down 2.85 points, or 0.10%, finishing the session at 2,796.98 points.
Trading volume amounted to 157.34 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 229.81 million.
The investment sector led the losers and shed 1.39%, pressured by Dubai Investment’s stock that fell 2.24%.
The banks sector slipped 0.64% as Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank dropped 0.87% and 0.58%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector edged up 0.78% on the back of Emaar Properties’ stock which jumped 2.37%.
Market capitalisation closed today’s session at AED 365.694 billion, losing AED 822 million.
