DFM maintains downward performance on Monday

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) decreased by 1.92% or 40.16 points to close Monday's trading session at 2,051.70 points, maintaining its negative performance on Sunday, 14 June.

A total of 540.68 million shares were traded through 5,643 transactions at a total value of AED 307.95 million.

The market cap value declined by AED 3.68 billion to AED 290.42 billion, compared to AED 294.10 billion during the previous session.

The investment and financial services segment led the losers with 3.67%, while the services sector came on top of the winners with 2.10%.

Union Properties topped 21 losing stocks with 5%, while Amlak Finance headed 11 rising stocks with 8.30%.

Union Properties also posted the highest trading volume of 168.95 million shares traded at a total value of AED 63.35 million.

Dubai Investments hit the top of the losing blue chips with 4.17%, while Arabtec Holding led the rising blue chips with 0.17%.
