Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 30.74 points or 1.44% to settle at 2,164.08 points by the end of Monday's trading session, maintaining its upward performance on Sunday.
The market cap value registered AED 302.12 billion, up by AED 1.7 billion from AED 300.42 billion during the previous session.
A total of 983.69 million shares were traded through 8,519 transactions at a total value of AED 713.60 million.
The real estate sector led the gainers with 4.69%, while the investment and financial services segment lost 0.53%.
Gulf Navigation Holding topped 21 rising stocks with 14.88%, while Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) headed seven losing stocks with 2.67%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 459.03 million shares, while Emaar Properties, up 6.49%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 184.19 million.
Dubai Investments headed the losing stocks and declined by 0.75%.
