Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bullish performance in Monday’s early trades.
The DFMGI rose 0.46% or 17.2 points to reach 3,709.38 points.
The market saw trading of 103.7 million shares through 1,280 transactions by 10:15am UAE time, with a turnover of AED 153.3 million.
The banks sector went up 0.82% as Ajman Bank, which topped gainers, and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) advanced 9.1% and 1.03% respectively.
The real estate sector increased 0.58% after Emaar Properties, Union Properties and Arabtec Holding grew 1.2%, 0.85% and 0.72% respectively.
On the flipside, the telecom and insurance sectors declined 1.12% and 0.32% respectively.
UP generated 28.2 million shares, with a turnover of AED 33.7 million.
