DFM opens Sunday higher

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Sunday’s trading session in the green zone, backed by the rise of four sectors led by the consumer staples and services.

The DFMGI added 0.11% or 4.8 points to stand at 3,706.30 points by 10:30am UAE time.

The consumer staples sector topped gainers with a 2.17% rise as DXB Entertainments advanced 2.5%.

The services sector added 1.88% as Amanat Holdings gained 1.88%. The insurance sector also went up 1.6% after Dar Al Takaful climbed 1.56%.

Turnover amounted to AED 224.48 million after trading 150.54 million shares through 1,552 transactions.
