Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Thursday’s trading session 0.19% or 6.88 points higher at 3,649.80 points.
By 11:07 am UAE time, the real estate segment gained 0.27%, backed by Drake and Scull International (DSI) which gained 0.78%.
Meanwhile, the banks sector retreated by 0.07%, dragged by Dubai Islamic Bank which lost 0.16%.
The DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 38.02 million after 28.03 million shares were exchanged through 523 transactions.
