Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) maintained its gains in Thursday’s early trades, spurred by the growth of investment and banks sectors.
The main index rose 0.25% or 8.18 points to reach 3,271.08 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The investment sector was the best performer with a 2% rise, backed by Dubai Investments which grew 2.5%.
The banks sector increased 0.28% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 0.6%. Likewise, the real estate sector advanced 0.07% after Damac Properties climbed 0.5%.
The market generated AED 247.88 million from the exchange of 232.95 million shares through 2,163 transactions.
