Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bearish performance in Thursday’s early trades, pressured by the fall of five sectors led by the investment and real estate.
The DFMGI declined 0.52% or 18.49 points to reach 3,565.13 points by 10:28am UAE time.
The investment sector led losers with a 0.8% decline as Dubai Investments sank 0.8%.
The real estate sector decreased 0.5% after Emaar Properties levelled down 1.06%. Likewise, the banks sector tumbled 0.24% as Emirates NBD slid 0.95%.
On the flipside, the consumer staples sector topped gainers after rising 1.5%, spurred by DXB Entertainments which increased 1.5%.
Turnover stood at AED 122.45 million after trading 103.56 million shares through 1,157 transactions.
