Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of investment and real estate stocks.
The general index fell 0.49% or 16.73 points to reach 3,378.33 points by 11:00 am UAE time.
The investment sector declined 1.06% as DFM Company and Dubai Investments sank 0.9%.
The real estate sector retreated 0.7% as Drake and Scull International (DSI) and Arabtec Holding went down 2.2% and 0.9%, respectively.
On the other hand, the banks sector rose 0.11% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 0.35%
The market saw trading of 46.32 million shares through 713 transactions, with a turnover of AED 43.58 million.
