Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Tuesday on a higher note, backed by the rise of six main sectors.
The DFM general index added 13.73 points or 0.43% to reach 3,216.57 points by 10:25am UAE time.
Sector-wise, the consumer staple led the gainers by 4.6% on the rise of DXB entertainment.
The transportation rose 0.9% after Gulf Navigation opened 6.7% up and the investment sector was also higher 0.6% on Dubai Investments (+1.03%).
The banking sector moved 0.12% higher as Ajman and Dubai Islamic banks increased 0.75% and 0.5% respectively.
Trading volume reached 118 million shares traded in 1,239 transactions at AED 164.50 million.
