Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) suffered losses in Wednesday’s early trades.
The DFMGI fell 0.08% or 2.6 points to reach 3,444.35 points by 10:41am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 29.74 million shares through 411 transactions, with a turnover of AED 47.19 million.
The investment sector led losers with a 1% decline as Dubai Investments and DFM Company went down 1.22% and 0.8%, respectively.
The real estate sector sank 0.17% as Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties retreated 0.45% and 0.14%, respectively.
On the flipside, the transportation sector topped gainers after adding 0.45% as Air Arabia and Aramex went up 0.93% and 0.4%, respectively.
The banks sector advanced 0.2% due to a rise in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.36%.
GFH Financial Group, which increased 2.02%, was the most active stock after trading 10.5 million shares worth AED 26.5 million.
