DFM opens Wednesday lower

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the red, dragged down by the fall of four sectors led by investment and real estate.

The main index declined 0.73% or 24.95 points to reach 3,383.49 points by 11:45 am UAE time.

The investment sector slid 1.13% as DFM Company retreated 1.7%.

The real estate sector went down 1% as Arabtec, Drake and Scull International (DSI), and Emaar Properties sank 6.4%, 0.99%, and 0.4%, respectively.

The market saw trading of 76.5 million shares through 1,574 transactions, with a turnover of AED 138.45 million.
