Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose in Wednesday's early trades, backed by the banks and investment sectors.
The DFMGI added 0.08% or 2.94 points to reach 3,545.11 points by 10:05am UAE time.
The investment sector grew 0.26% as Shuaa Capital and Dubai Financial Market advanced1.36% and 0.8%, respectively.
The insurance sector topped gainers and rose 0.6%, after Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (AMAN) hiked 4.02%.
The banks sector went up 0.23% due to a rise in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.36%.
The market saw trading of 23.84 million shares through 215 transactions, with a turnover of AED 51.39 million.
