Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, spurred by Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties.
The general index increased 0.8% or 26.8 points to reach 3,301.9 points by 11:00am UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 126.28 million after 104.7 million shares were traded through 1,381 transactions.
The consumer staples sector added 1.5% as Dubai Parks and Resorts levelled up 1.6%.
The real estate sector rose 0.14% after Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties gained 1.2% each.
The banks sector grew 0.4%, supported by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) which added 1.06%.
On the flipside, the transportation, industrial and telecom sectors remained unchanged.
