Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Thursday’s trading session in the green, backed by the rise of investment and banks stocks.
The main index went up 0.09% or 2.38 points to reach 3,520.25 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 0.91% rise, spurred by SHUAA Capital which grew 1.8%.
The banks sector also advanced 0.26% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) increased 0.4%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector retreated 1.08% as Drake and Scull International (DSI) fell 0.76%.
The market saw trading of 25.63 million shares through 322 transactions, with a turnover of AD 23.72 million.
