Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started its early trades in the green on Tuesday, backed by the telecom and real estate stocks.
The DFMGI gained 0.86% or 28 points to reach 3,266.9 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The telecom sector topped gainers with a 2.7% rise, spurred by du which also added 2.7%.
The real estate sector grew 1.3% as Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties increased 9% and 0.6% in a row.
The UAE stock markets are expected to continue their uptrend on Tuesday, as some portfolio investors accumulate and speculate on some selective stocks, analysts told Mubasher.
The banks sector rose 0.1% after Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled up 0.7% and 0.8% in a row.
The market saw trading of 432.9 million shares through 4,472 transactions, with turnover of AED 596.65 million.
