Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Tuesday, helped by leading stocks in the real estate, banks and investment sectors.
The DFMGI increased 1.7% or 51.2 points to reach 3,055.12 points.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 3.06% rise, followed by the real estate and banks sectors at 2.52% and 0.77%. Meanwhile, the telecom sector declined 0.17%.
Meanwhile, Dubai Investments, Emaar Properties and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) advanced 3.6%, 3.1% and 1.9%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 136.67 million shares through 1,800 transactions, with turnover of AED 180.14 million.
