DFM opens in red as real estate, banks sectors fall

Dubai-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged down by 0.31% or 11.02 points to reach 3,533.19 points by 10:35 am Dubai time on Sunday.

DFM’s real estate sector led the decliners by 0.63%, dragged by Emaar which retreated by 1.14%. 

The transportation sector levelled down by 0.52%, the investment sector lost 0.36%, while the banks sector fell by 0.33%.

The market’s trading value stood at AED 64.39 million as 52.5 million shares were traded through 676 transactions.
