Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by blue chips.
The general index lost 0.8% or 26.3 points to reach 3.326.89 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The real estate sector was the worst performer after falling 2.12%, as Emaar Malls Group dipped 1.7%, followed by Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding as they shed 0.6% and 0.6%, respectively.
The banks sector fell 0.7% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) retreated 1.5%.
The market saw trading of 62 million shares, with a turnover of AED 77.2 million.
