Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a downward trend in Thursday’s early trades, weighed by the banks sector's performance.
The DFMGI decreased 0.6% or 20.4 points to 3,359.28 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The banks sector levelled down 2.5% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Ajman Bank fell 6.3% and 3.3%, respectively.
The telecom sector retreated 1.3% after du went down 1.3%.
The services sector declined 0.9% as Tabreed slid 3.4%.
On the flipside, the investment sector increased 0.9% after Dubai Investments advanced 0.9%.
The real estate sector added 0.68% helped by Emaar Malls Group and Emaar Properties which increased, 1.09% and 0.3% respectively.
The market saw trading of 184.32 million shares through 2,051 transactions, with turnover of AED 261.69 million.
