Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, amid the decline of leading sectors.
The general index fell 0.16% or 4.7 points to reach 3,504.2 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The investment sector led losers with a 0.52% decline as DFM Company went down 0.75%.
The real estate sector retreated 0.25% after Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties slipped 1.34% and 0.4% respectively. Likewise, the banks sector slid 0.24% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) decreased 0.4%.
The market saw trading of 29.34 million shares through 661 transactions, with a turnover of AED 57 million.
