Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) witnessed losses in Thursday’s early trades, dragged down by the negative performance of the investment and banks sectors.
The main index lost 0.13% or 4.43 points to reach 3,526.17 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector was the worst performer after falling 0.61% as DFM Company slid 0.8%.
The banks sector also went down 0.20% due to a decline in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.18%. Likewise, the real estate sector decreased 0.05% as Drake and Scull International (DSI) levelled down 0.18%.
The market saw trading of 18.54 million shares through 351 transactions, with a turnover of AED 31 million.
