Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) kicked off Monday trading session on negative note on the decline of almost all the market sectors, topped by both the sectors of investment and real estate.
The market main index eased 0.28% or 9.8 points reaching 3,481.83 points by 10.20 am UAE time, amid forecasts that the market will extend the previous session’s downside trend.
The investment sector inched down 0.45% on the decline of DFM stock by 0.75%, while the investment sector slide 0.39% on the decline of Emaar by 0.56%.Following suit, the banking sector slipped 0.13% as Dubai Islamic Bank went down by 0.2%.
Monday early trading witnessed 60.31 million shares changed hands worth AED 77.09 million excuted through 654 transactions.
