DFM opens up in Wednesday's early trades

Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Wednesday, backed by the rise of the banks, real estate and investment stocks.

The DFMGI went up 0.14% or 5.3 points to reach 3,306.29 points by 11:00am UAE time.

The banks sector was the best performer, rising 0.2%, backed by Ajman Bank which added 5.2%.

The real estate sector advanced 0.2% as Deyaar Development Company and Emaar Properties gained 0.3% each.

On the flipside, the investment sector led losers, falling 0.65% due to a decline in SHUAA Capital and Dubai Investments.

The market saw a trading of 71.9 million shares through 783 transactions, with a turnover of AED 99.8 million.
