Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell to its lowest level since November 2016 at the opening of Tuesday’s session.
In 15 minutes since the session started, the main index lost 2.6% to reach 3,290 points, dropping the 3,300-point level.
Gulf Navigation Holding was the top loser with a decline of 9.9% to AED 0.91.
Ithmaar, the newly listed stock, fell by 8.6% to AED 0.79.
Leading stocks, including Emaar, Arabtec, Dubai Islamic Bank, Dubai Investments, and Air Arabia dropped 2.92%, 3.6%, 1.6%, 4.1%, and 2.3%, respectively.
The DFM’s liquidity stood at AED 105 million after 68 million shares were traded through 1,070 transactions.
