Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Monday’s trading session in the green zone, backed by the rise of investment, real estate, and banks stocks.
The general index rose 0.11% or 3.78 points to reach 3,547.11 points by 10:50am UAE time.
Turnover amounted to AED 64.71 million after trading 56 million shares through 1,000 transactions.
DXB Entertainments was the value leader and most active stock after trading 16.84 million shares worth AED 16.75 million.
The investment sector rose 0.28% as DFM Company and Dubai Investments added 0.74% and 0.4%, respectively.
The real estate sector gained 0.16% after Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties went up 1.94% and 0.13%, respectively.
The banks sector grew 0.15% due to a rise in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.18%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector fell 3.23% as National Cement Co (NCC) sank 3.23%.
