Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Wednesday’s trading session in the green, shrugging off the losses of previous sessions.
The main index gained 0.05% or 1.57 points to reach 3,456.75 points by 10:35am UAE time.
The services sector was the best performer after adding 2.72%, backed by Tabreed which grew 7.74%. The investment sector also gained 1.85% due to a rise in SHUAA Capital and Dubai Investments by 2.16% and 1.45% respectively.
The consumer staples sector also went up 0.6% as Dubai Parks and Resorts advanced 0.61%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector fell 0.11% after Emaar Properties declined 0.71%.
Turnover stood at AED 46.32 million generated from the exchange of 41.90 million shares through 530 transactions.
