Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the green on Tuesday, overshadowing the decline of oil prices yesterday.
The DFMGI added 0.72% or 25.70 points to reach 3,583.17 points by 10:56am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 77.3 million shares through 1,192 transactions, with a turnover of AED 123.72 million.
The real estate sector topped gainers after rising 1.44%, backed by Emaar Malls Group which advanced 6.25% after the announcement of its first-quarter financials.
