Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened stronger on Monday, backed by most real estate stocks.
The DFMGI rose 0.3% or 9.9 points to reach 3,314.02 points by 10:46am UAE time.
The investment sector gained 0.7% as Dubai Investment advanced 0.9%.
The real estate sector levelled up 0.4%, spurred by Drake and Scull International, Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding.
The banks sector grew 0.2% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) went up 0.5%.
The market saw trading of 57.8 million shares through 627 transactions, with turnover of AED 53.8 million.
