Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red, amid the negative performance of the real estate, banks and investment sectors
The DFMGI declined 1.06% or 31.79 points to reach 2,966 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector lost 2.25% as Dubai Investments slid 2.83%.
The real estate sector levelled down 1.09% after Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties declined 1.67% and 1.57% in a row.
The banks sector lost 1.02% as Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates NBD declined 0.66% and 1.82% in a row.
On the flipside, the telecom sector rose 0.37% to reach AED 5.42.
Trading volume reached 183.52 million shares after exchanging 2,800 transactions, generating AED 233.3 million.
