Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Wednesday, in line with the fall of consumer staples and real estate stocks.
The main index lost 0.13% or 4.65 points to reach 3,508.55 points by 10:25am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector was the worst performer with a 0.6% decline, weighed down by Dubai Parks and Resorts which slid 0.6%.
The real estate sector also decreased 0.30% as Emaar Properties went down 0.56%.
The investment sector also declined 0.12% as DFM Company fell 0.7%.
The market saw trading of 28 million shares through 431 transactions, with a turnover of 431 transactions.
